Prayer and Study

Home Groups

There are two groups that meet weekly, one on Tuesday morning and another on Tuesday evenings. For details please contact the parish office ph. 322 6095.

A fortnightly home group meets on a Wednesday for study, prayer and fellowship. If you are interested in joining this group contact: Anke Ph. 322 7446

Prayer Chain

Members of this group are ready to uphold any special needs that are passed on to them. If you would like prayer for yourself or know of folk who are perhaps ill or facing difficulties please contact them. The clergy too are happy to pass requests on. It may also be that the reason for prayer is to give thanks and that is more than appropriate.   Do ensure that, if you are seeking prayer for someone else, they should give their permission for this to occur. Contact: Shirley: 322-7747

Study Groups

Healing Ministry Seminar February 2008

As a parish we recognise the importance of small groups, not only for learning and deepening faith, but also for fellowship and strengthening relationships within the congregation. In the past, various groups have met at different times and for different purposes.

The Diocese provides a number of short or longer courses on a variety of topics through the Theology House. Contact: Ph. 355 9145 or admin@theologyhouse.ac.nz

Men's Fellowship

This group meets in the Parish Lounge each Saturday Morning from 7:30am - 8.30am for fellowship and prayer. Further information contact: Michael Ph. 322 5598

Library

St Mary's has a modest sized library which is available to the parishioners. It includes a good number of books and videos for adults and children. Included in the library are biographies of Christians who have left their mark on their generation.

The Library trolley is located in the hall entrance way on Sunday mornings, and books and videos can also be borrowed during office hours which are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am - 1pm.
